The Hillsmere Hammerheads welcome new and returning swimmers for the summer season. During General Registration priority is given to returning swimmers, Hillsmere Shores Community members and pool members. Swimmers must be between the ages of 5-18 years old and must be able to swim the complete length of the pool (25 yards).

Registration fees are $20 per swimmer.

  • At least one parent/guardian registration is required. New accounts will be sent an email confirmation message with instructions to set up a password.
  • At least one parent/guardian email address must be provided. Check the boxes to indicate which parent/guardians should receive team-wide emails.
  • At least one parent/guardian is required to volunteer.
  • Previously registered parents/guardians cannot be edited during registration. Please contact your team's admin to request edits.

Can your child swim the length of the pool (25y)? *

Non-Resident/Non-Member

The Hillsmere Hammerheads welcome all swimmers from both the Hillsmere community and neighboring communities. Priority is given to Hillsmere residents and returning swimmers. If you live outside of Hillsmere, you may still register for the swim team and we will contact you after registration closes to verify if you have a spot on the roster. There is an additional fee of $25 per swimmer for swimmers who are not residents and not members of the pool.

Participation Agreement, Release and Waiver

I, on behalf of myself and/or my child, hereby voluntarily wish to assist and participate in the Hillsmere Hammerheads Swim Team. 

  • I understand that I and/or my child do so at our own risk and hereby waive and release the Hillsmere Hammerheads and sponsoring organization from all claims and liabilities of any kind arising out of my or my child’s participation, including but not limited to illness (including, but not limited to, COVID-19), bodily injury, property damage, liabilities, losses, damages, fines, costs, fees, and expenses including attorney’s fees and costs (at both any trial and appellate levels) arising out of or in any way connected to or relating to me or my child’s participation.
  • I understand that I am responsible for any insurance needs in case of any illness, harm or injury and that no such insurance is provided by the Hillsmere Hammerheads. Furthermore, I understand that although safety precautions will be observed, the Hillsmere Hammerheads, its agents, servants, and volunteers will not be responsible for any claim of any privacy violation through my or my child’s participation, or for any illness, harm or personal injury I or my child may sustain in participation with the Hillsmere Hammerheads Swim Team.
  • I also consent to the use of any photographs, recordings, data, information and/or videotapes made of the event, whether through an online internet or virtual presentation or provided in person and I, on behalf of myself and my child, waive any privacy, ownership or copyright concern in any presentation or recording of my work at an event, on the internet online or in a virtual setting.

Volunteering Requirement

Every family must earn at least 4 volunteer credits throughout the regular swim season. Families may not earn more than 1 credit per meet, but additional help is always needed, encouraged, and appreciated! Families that exceed their volunteer requirements by the end of the regular season will be entered into a drawing to receive reduced registration fees next season.

If family volunteer requirements are not met during the regular season, your swimmer(s) may not be eligible to participate in the championship meets at the of the season. In addition, for your child to be eligible to swim in a championship meet, your family must volunteer for at least one of the championship meets (this does not have to be the meet your child is swimming in).

Bullying Policy

The Hillsmere Hammerheads Swim Team is committed to providing a safe and nurturing swim environment that values encouragement and diversity. The Team prohibits acts of bullying, cyber-bulling, harassment, or intimidation, because these actions compromise the learning environment and well-being of swimmers, Coaches and community members. Violators of this policy may be asked to leave Team functions (including practices, meets, and other events).
